I don't know why the days keep passing and flying by the way they do. What's the rush? Stick around Tuesday- I feel as if we haven't had a good conversation in a long time. And you Wednesday- we're due for some quality time. A drink and a movie soon, maybe? I can't even look you straight in the eyes Thursday. You and me? When was the last time we even so much as acknowledged each other? We just both duck our heads and double step it through to everyone's best friend, Friday.
Well you know what Friday? I'm thankful for every day. That's right. You heard me. You're awesome and you mean the weekend is here and that we made it through another week- ok, I get that. You know what else you mean? THAT ANOTHER WEEK HAS PASSED. Sheesh. You ever thought of it that way, Friday? Huh? Want to stop rubbing it in my face all the time?
I can't believe I'm on the other side of another week. It is nearly the end of stinkin' September and it was downright chilly yesterday! None-the-less, I am thankful for the slight pause that the weekend gives, even if it is just a deep breath between events and obligations. I hope you're able to snag some deep breaths this weekend too- deep, Fall-filled, pumpkin-spiced, breaths. Happy Friday.
