my favorite part

This weekend included lots of dressing up, high heels and applause. There was a standing ovation on Sunday, and lots of good food too. It was a wonderful, full series of days. But my favorite part? Staying up late with my mom- slumber party style- talking on Saturday night. I'll take that over a standing ovation any day.

Hello! I grew up the third child of a Baptist minister and a fifth grade teacher. These days, I am a wife and a mother, spending time in a combination of classrooms, offices and my cozy kitchen. Our growing family resides in a petite mid-1800's home on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

To shed for those who suffer pain, rejection, hunger, & war.
So that you may reach out your hands to comfort them
To turn their pain into joy.

JUST ENOUGH FOOLISHNESS
To believe that you can make a difference in the world.

So that you can do what others claim cannot be done:
Cry the transforming Gospel of Jesus with your life to the ends of the earth.
