- I thought it was suppose to rain the whole morning and afternoon, but the forecast was wrong. My feet stayed dry through the entire commute, and my cold continues to heal rather than worsen. I've never been so thankful for a dreary, sunless day.
- During class this morning something triggered the memory of my [now] husband bursting into tears on a drive up to Vermont 15 months ago. At the time I was honestly concerned for his sanity and wellbeing. The next day I was wearing a new ring, and crying myself. I love this funny, crazy, loving husband of mine. I'm so thankful for him.
- I may have finally realized I'm a director. I'm in a scene for another grad student and rehearsal today was driving me c r a z y. I kept restraining the urge to switch roles with her. The thing is, she's an actor, through and through. And then I realized: I'm a director. My thinking has shifted- I'm not thinking from the perspective of acting anymore, and I don't even- dare I say it?- really love acting like I used to. It feels foreign. [And I'm thrilled.]
