making a list

I know list-making sounds rather holiday spirited right now. This one doesn't have anything to do with naughty or nice decisions though. Its a bucket list of sorts. Jake hates the name "bucket list." He thinks its morbid. I guess it is, to some degree. The idea of making a list of things to do before you "kick the bucket." My list has nothing to do with any metaphoircal bucket. Its just a list of things I want to do. Some are more easily achieved then others. Some seem kinda crazy. All of them are things I would be proud of.

So there it is, up there in the tabs. A list.

Do you have a list? Whether its on a blog or just a tally in your mind, I'm sure you have one. We all do, right? Of course, I grew up with a list-maker, goal-setter, mom. We set goals at the start of every school year and checked in on how we did with them at the year end. My mom makes a list every night, and crosses it off, line by line, every day. I am a list-maker by breed, but you do have one, I bet. That book you've been meaning to read. That place you've always wanted to travel to. What's on your list?
