sleepy love

This morning Jake didn't know I was awake and I caught him being precious. He was tiptoeing around our bedroom in attempts to let me sleep. My 6"2' husband, clad in workboots and paint-splattered jeans, was TIPTOEING.

I love this man. He loves me too.

Hello! I grew up the third child of a Baptist minister and a fifth grade teacher. These days, I am a wife and a mother, spending time in a combination of classrooms, offices and my cozy kitchen. Our growing family resides in a petite mid-1800's home on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

So that you may reach out your hands to comfort them
To turn their pain into joy.

JUST ENOUGH FOOLISHNESS
To believe that you can make a difference in the world.

So that you can do what others claim cannot be done:
Cry the transforming Gospel of Jesus with your life to the ends of the earth.
