Today is not the second anniversary of our commitment to each other. We made that decision way before the wedding day. On this day, two years ago, we celebrated our commitment with an intimate group who, as our community, committed to holding us to our promises. On that day we made public the quiet kinds of words not usually uttered in front of one's grandmother.
Happy Anniversary of a really great party. Happy Anniversary to my love[r]. And because we will never be able to say it enough- thank you to the family and friends who prayed and ate and danced with us that day, and showered us with love and gifts. You made it just the best day ever, and you continue to make our lives so very rich.
