sunshine on my shoulders

After two consecutive tech weeks I tend to be rather shot. My mind is mush and my patience is thin. Thank goodness for hugs from my mom and my sister, snuggling with my husband, and long walks with the pup. Praise be that I'm held up by such incredible community. I would not be capable of anything I do without my community.

Hello! I grew up the third child of a Baptist minister and a fifth grade teacher. These days, I am a wife and a mother, spending time in a combination of classrooms, offices and my cozy kitchen. Our growing family resides in a petite mid-1800's home on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

I believe in the power of words; the power of finding your voice, or seeking it, at least. Which is why I'm here-- to root out my voice in the form of fingertips hitting a keyboard.

So that you may reach out your hands to comfort them
To turn their pain into joy.

JUST ENOUGH FOOLISHNESS
To believe that you can make a difference in the world.

So that you can do what others claim cannot be done:
Cry the transforming Gospel of Jesus with your life to the ends of the earth.
